So this weekend we went to costco hungry. Which can never be a good thing. While walking around in the meat section I saw that they had ahi steaks for sale. Now its been awhile since i’ve had seafood so was already craving seafood and ended up breaking down and buying the smalled ahi steak they had. Of course they intended for you to grill the thing or otherwise cook it but it looked pretty good and while hardly sushi grade I figured I could make some poke out of it. I decided to make some spicy ahi since i haven’t had that since i was home for the wedding. It came out pretty good, although I think my wasabi oil might have gone a little bad since i haven’t used it in a couple of years.
