Just got done watching the super bowl. I couldn’t decided who to cheer for until just before the game kicked off. On one hand I’ve cheered for the patriots all year long since they were a good part of my fantasy team. On the other hand I generally like cheering for the underdog in the super bowl since I don’t really have a team. I ended up deciding to cheer for the patriots. Most of the game was pretty boring but the last quarter it finally got exciting. It was a fantastic finish and the better playing team definitely won the game. The giants defense was all over the brady the whole game and deserved to win. I gotta imagine Eli has got to be walking on air. Definetly more than payton’s brother now.
To watch the super bowl we invited over our friends from Nicole’s program. So Jill, Esto and Courtney ended up coming over but Brad didn’t get to come since he had some work conference in California. It was great to see all of them again since I haven’t seen them from before christmas. We had a pretty good spread with my mother’s hot wings, chowder, chips and dip, cheese and crackers, and grapes. Jill and Courtney also brought stuff. So food wise we were definitely eating pretty well for a super bowl party outside of Hawaii (no fish and other local foods i miss). It was interesting watching the game only with people who don’t watch football normally. So i was the only one really cheering and paying attention all of the time. But we had a good time making fun of some of the commercials and otherwise catching up. The girls spent most of the game catching up on office gossip and talking about our cruise. Sadly i forgot to take pictures of any of the food or everyone over watching the game. Hopefully I’ll get better in the future at remembering to take pictures.
